Roslyn Pringle


Roslyn was born in the Caribbean on the island of Trinidad. She moved to Canada when she was six years old and then moved with her family to the Bahamas between the ages of 9 and 13. She started dancing Jazz at age 12 and continued when she moved back to Canada until she was 18 years old.

Once Roslyn raised her family she returned to dancing as an adult in Duncan and Victoria taking classes and performing in Jazz Funk and Hip Hop from 1998 – 2010. She then branched out into the world of Latin Dance in 2005 in Victoria. Salsa is her primary background however she also has danced Merengue, Bachata, Samba, Cumbia, West African, Afro Cuban and African Contemporary.
In 2010 Roslyn was introduced to Zumba and grew an instant passion to this new type of dance fitness. Under the mentorship of Danny Lemus, Roslyn went on to become a certified Zumba Instructor and recently acquired Zumba Toning certification.
