Rachel has been teaching in the Cowichan Valley for over sixteen years and has helped her students prepare for all kinds of goals from simply having more confidence to landing roles or being accepted into major programs. Rachel updates her skills by working with master musicians, and has completed an Applied Vocal Pedagogy course with Dr. Marvin Regier.

Teaching Information: Rachel is passionate about helping students to recognize the need for both beautiful, quality music, and humour to be kept alive in our world. Her philosophy as both a teacher and as a soloist is “leave audiences feeling joyful and inspired, moved and entertained…life is an adventure.” Now that Rachel has a 2-year-old and a four-year-old, she knows this for sure and has new insights into working with little ones!! Rachel teaches voice to students of all ages and skill levels with an emphasis on safe and healthy vocal production. Early grades of piano are offered both separately and/or to complement vocal training. Theory and ear training are included for exam preparation. Rachel is a member of Cowichan Valley Music Teachers Association.
